Outline of the 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course for Child Carers

12 hours

This is a legal requirement for all child minders and staff that work in day nurseries and other out of school settings. As of 1st Sep 2008 this course is also a legal requirement for all schools that have children of 5 years or less (EYFS Statutory Framework). This course and company are approved by Councils (EYDCP´s). This course can be split up into varying length sessions, but usually two sessions of six hours. A 3 year certificate is given on completion and all course literature is included.
