- Jumper or Fleece and Long sleeves and Long trousers (some people are cold and there are floor activities)
- Notepad and pen
- Packed lunch and cooler if required
- Speciality Drinks (flavoured tea, mineral water etc.)
- Towels or pads to kneel on
Health and Safety Statement for First Aid Course Delegates
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all delegates during this First Aid course, participants are asked to consider their personal health and physical capability before attending. Some practical activities involve kneeling, lifting, moving casualties, and performing resuscitation techniques, including chest compressions and rescue breaths on manikins
If you have any medical condition, injury, physical limitation, or other health concern that may affect your ability to safely participate in these activities, you must inform us in writing in advance of the course date. This allows us to assess any necessary adjustments and ensure the training environment remains safe for everyone.
Delegates should also consider their mental and emotional suitability for the subjects covered, as the course may include discussion or simulation of medical emergencies, injuries, and life-threatening situations.
Please do not wait until the day of the course to notify us of any relevant health concerns, as we may not be able to accommodate last-minute disclosures to your satisfaction, and we don't need an uncomfortable discussion on the day
By attending the course, delegates confirm they are fit to participate in the training activities. While every effort is made to conduct training safely, we cannot accept liability for injuries that may occur where relevant medical, physical, or psychological information has not been disclosed to us in advance.
