How does it work?
We send your school an online pack, which you forward to every member of staff.
Everyone does the online pack and you order your own training pen - free of charge.
Two staff (we call them Guru's) do a small amount of extra online training (which is at the end of the standard pack) and we provide them with a checklist. They then basically watch each person do a series of actions and mark them off as they go - and ask them some questions. Once they have all been assessed as competent then the school is in compliance.
The advantage of doing it like this is that it is cost effective, done within your own time or schedule, and nobody is missed, so you can ensure all staff are trained and you can do it annually, with certification from us.
Any individuals who attend our first aid courses obviously get trained by us to use the auto-injector but as this isn’t an annual course as Benedict’s law requires it would still not comply. However with our online system this course is managed within your school by these extra trained staff.
