HSE changes have had a large impact on First Aid Training Providers especially if you are not currently HSE approved.
From 1st October 2009 only HSE approved training providers are able to run both the First Aid at Work and the one day Emergency First Aid at Work course (similar to and partly replacing the Appointed Persons course).
HSE or QCA approval may be difficult or expensive for a lot of existing training providers.
To assist these training providers, we have set up a ´Franchise´ Associate scheme where HSE courses can be run under our HSE approval umbrella. This will not only save time and money but offer additional benefits.
The following is a brief overview of the benefits of our Affiliate, Franchise or Associate system:
- You will be able to run both the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and the First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification without having to be directly HSE or QCA approved.
- Your customer will see your name on certificates (as well as the mandatory information)
- You will be approved and monitored by us with minimal intrusion into your business (Fee approx £100 per year for a monitoring visit).
- All trainee certificates will continue to be produced with your logo and contact details.
- Certificate costs are typically £3.50 for one day courses and £5.50 for the FAW course.
